Design & Colour

An icy, near-colourless oval jadeite cabochon with a soft glow, held in an 18K yellow gold frame and topped with natural diamonds. The open-back setting lets light flow through the stone so it glows from within. The hook can be opened and attached as a charm to any bracelet or beaded necklace — one piece, many ways to wear it.

Symbolism & Inspiration

From the Tang poet Wang Changling: 洛阳亲友如相问，一片冰心在玉壶 — "If friends in Luoyang ask after me, tell them my heart is pure as ice in a jade pot." 冰心 is a heart that stays clear and true, whatever the world brings. A beautiful gift for someone whose sincerity you treasure.

Why It’s Collectible

Icy jadeite (冰种) is valued for clarity and fine texture — the closer to glass, the rarer it is. An open-back setting can only be used when the stone is clean enough to show off, and natural diamonds plus a convertible design make this exceptionally versatile. Pair it with its companion, Jade Spring Vase 玉壶春.

Each jewellery comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from third-party independent reputable gem lab.
